Aurélia Sylvia MAFONGO KAMGA is a senior associate at Chazai Wamba law Firm, a business law firm for Africa based in Cameroon.
She is a barrister and solicitor to the Nigerian and Cameroon Bars.
She acts as secretary on arbitration related matters as well as counsel on the drafting of specific commercial contracts especially ADR agreements.
She is a former International Chamber of Commerce Young Arbitrator Forum (ICC-YAF) Representative for Africa, Middle East and Turkey. She organises, attends and presents papers at several conferences around the world, to promote ADR mechanisms among young practitioners. She is an active member of the Association for the Promotion of Arbitration in Africa (APAA), a member of the Association of Young Arbitrators (AYA), Young International Council of Commercial Arbitration (ICCA), among the Arbitral Women and an Associate of the United Kingdom Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb).
Prior to working at a law firm, she was at the Common Court of Justice and Arbitration (CCJA-OHADA) where she gained experience in arbitration.
