About Us
The Arbitration Fund for African Students (AFAS) is a registered Charitable Incorporated Organisation (“CIO”) under the laws of England & Wales with the primary objective of advancing education in arbitration through knowledge creation, skills development, and research in the use and methods of arbitration, generally and more particularly for African students. We support these students to attend conferences, moots, and other arbitration related events; research and publish and communicate their output to the general public. In these ways, we support the emergence of future generations of arbitration practitioners and academics.
